Our Client based in the Dover area is looking to recruit an accounts manager with potential progression within the business.
It is essential that you already have experience of working in an accountancy practice and are competent in completing day-to-day work to an advanced stage.
The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, ambitious individual with strong general practice background. You should be personable and able to engage with clients and other staff members, working alone or as part of a team. The candidate should be qualified ACCA or ACA and keen to take on new responsibilities, building client relationships and assisting partners in securing new business leads.
The role will involve taking on a portfolio of clients that includes accounts production, tax compliance and advice for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. The role will also include managing a team of staff and training/assisting more junior staff. The candidate will be familiar with Xero, Sage and QuickBooks and will be required to assist the office in the continued drive to move more clients to cloud based solutions and looking for added value advice.
